Education Services

Bay Area Hospital improves the health of our community through classes and other events that teach about coping with health problems, staying well, and improving your health. We offer many educational opportunities for the community, including:

• Maternity/well baby classes: Our experienced nurses work closely with you and your healthcare provider to give you support throughout your pregnancy.
• Support groups for those undergoing dialysis or living with Parkinson’s disease, cancer or other chronic conditions.
• Diabetes education.
• Pre-op classes, such as Moving Forward, a total joint pre-surgery education class.

We also provide continuing professional and medical education, such as advanced life support, to our healthcare providers, and varied in-services and workshops.
