The Rehabilitation Services department at Bay Area Hospital is committed to providing exceptional care. We provide services to patients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities or changes in physical function and health status due to injury, disease or other causes.
Physical and Occupational Therapy focus on improving strength, endurance, flexibility, motor control and stability to support normal functional activities.
Speech and Language Therapy focus on communication skills and swallowing dysfunction.
We serve patients who have a wide range of conditions including, but not limited to, orthopaedic, neurological, vestibular and balance disorders, trauma, wounds and lymphedema, on an outpatient basis. We are committed to providing individualized care plans in a safe, caring environment to help you return to your fullest potential of optimal function.
