LABORATORY

Accredited by the College of American Pathologists, the Laboratory offers a full scope of procedures in a variety of clinical and anatomical pathology areas. In 2005, the Laboratory achieved a perfect inspection for the first time in the hospital’s history from the CAP.

Three pathologists direct the department, which is equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation and staffed 24 hours a day.

The blood bank serves Oregon's South Coast.
