REHABILITATION SERVICES
The Rehabilitation Services team works with acute care inpatients and outpatients. The staff is comprised of physical and occupational therapists and speech language pathologists.
Every rehab patient is offered an effective therapeutic program designed to maintain one's health and restore functional independence to the highest level of the person's capability.
The rehab staff has special training in manual therapy, PNF, dysphagia, Phase II cardiac rehabilitation, orthopedics, neurology, surgery, work injury, and hand trauma.
Rehab centers across the state refer returning South Coast residents to Bay Area Hospital to continue in outpatient rehabilitation.
