Event Description:
If you have been told that you are a “borderline” diabetic, prediabetic, or glucose intolerant, or if you have diabetes in your family, are overweight and don’t exercise, have high blood pressure, or high triglycerides and cholesterol, you may be at risk for developing diabetes. This class will teach you how to make a few simple lifestyle changes that can slow or prevent the progression towards diabetes. Classes are from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on select dates in January, April, July and October.
